Minister of Foreign Affairs Returns to Nouakchott

On 22 April, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, returned to Nouakchott from the Turkish city of Istanbul after having held talks with his Turkish counterpart.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Executive Council of the African Union, the minister had previously participated in the meetings of the G7 foreign ministers held in Capri, Italy.
