Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meetings

On 18 April, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, President of the Executive Council of the African Union, took part in the meeting of G7 Foreign Ministers in Capri ( Italy).

During this working meeting, Mr. Merzoug delivered a speech during which he emphasized the priorities of Africa as a partner within the international system.

The ministers also shared their views on international news and ways and means that enable the African Union and the G7 to collaborate within the framework of a win-win strategic partnership.
