Foreign Minister Meets With Japanese Counterpart

On 18 April, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, President of the Executive Council of the African Union, met with Ms. Kamikawa Yoko, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Empire of Japan, on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers meetings, being held in Rome.

The meeting focused on the excellent cooperative relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two friendly people and issues of common interest.
