Mauritania Participates in African Meeting on Infrastructure

Mauritania, represented by its Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mohamedou Ahmedou M’Haïmid, participated, Thursday, via videoconference, in the African meeting on infrastructure, organized by iconference and under the aegis of a group of Africa’s development partners: The World Bank, the SSATP group, the AfDB and French funds.

Focused on the effects of COVID-19 on transport infrastructure, the challenges encountered in the field, and ways and means to accelerate infrastructure development, the meeting saw the participation of 35 African countries, including Congo Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, and the Central African Republic.
