Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal visited, Thursday, the Ministry of Equipment and Transport, and held a meeting with officials and executives of the department.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister insisted before the heads of public services on the need to bring services closer to citizens and to respond to their demands in a timely manner.
Shortly after the meeting, the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mr. Mohamedou Ahmedou M’Haimid, made a statement to the Mauritanian news agency (AMI), in which he indicated that the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister is part of a program of visits to cover several ministerial departments and aimed at giving directives to the staff of the ministries to achieve a better performance in the accomplishment of their missions.
The meeting was attended by the Minister Secretary General of the Government, the Director of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, his advisers, and the administrative authorities of the wilaya of West Nouakchott.
