President of Republic receives credentials of new Ambassador of State of Palestine

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, Thursday, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, the credentials of His Ecellency Mohamed Ghassem Assaad Al-Assaad, in his capacity as Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the State of Palestine in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The President of the Republic then granted an audience to the Palestinian diplomat, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
The ceremony for the presentation of the credentials of the new Palestinian ambassador took place in the presence of:

– Ismaël Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad;
– Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic.

– Mr. Mohammed Lemine Ould Aboye Ould Cheikh El Hadrami, official in charge of the Presidency of the Republic;
– Mr. Mohammed El-Hanchi Ould El Kettab, Ambassador, Director General of Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad;
– Mr. Oumar Ould Ahmed Babou, Ambassador, Director of Arab World Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.
