National Committee for Crescents: Wednesday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr

The National Committee of the Crescents announced that , Tuesday, the thirtieth of the blessed month of Ramadan, and that tomorrow, Wednesday, the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
This came in a statement issued by the committee on Monday evening, which reads as follows:
The National Committee of the Crescents met at the buildings of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Indigenous Education, on Monday evening
29 Ramadan 1445 AH, corresponding to April 8, 2024 AD to monitor the opening of Shawwal 1445 AH. After contacting all the states of the country and conducting the necessary investigations, the committee did not reach proof of the vision of
Crescent tonight.
Accordingly, Fatih Shawwal for the Hijri year 1445 AH is on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 AD.
Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held in the mosque of Ibn Abbas at nine o’clock in the morning.
The Committee draws attention to the fact that important Islamic events took place this month, the most prominent of which are published on the Ministry’s website and page coinciding with the beginning of the month.
