Minister of Economic Affairs Receives World Bank Delegation

The Minister of Economic Affairs and the Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane,received today, Tuesday, in Nouakchott, a delegation from the International Finance Corporation(IFC) of the World Bank Group, led by the Regional Director responsible for West Africa at the International Finance Corporation, Mr. Aali Mega.

The meeting discussed the existing cooperative relations between Mauritania and this international financial institution and ways to enhance partnership and support that the institution can provide to Mauritania.

During the meeting,several topics were discussed, especially in the fields of agriculture and food security.

The meeting was attended by the ministry’s Acting Secretary General, the Minister’s legal adviser, the private sector consultant, the General manager of the Mauritanian Investment Promotion Agency, the General manager of the Public-Private Partnership and the World Bank’s representative in Mauritania.
