President of Republic’s Activities in Guinea Bissau

Nouakchott, 24 Sept 2020 (AMI)-The President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and his Bissau-Guinean counterpart, Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embalo, co-presided, on Wednesday in Bissau, a signature ceremony of a commercial and industrial agreement of cooperation during the President’s visit to Bissau.
The agreement was signed, from the Mauritan part, by Ms. Naha Mint Hamdy Ould Mouknass, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, and from the Guinean part, by Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Antonio Arthur Sanha.
The signature took place in presence of members of the two accompanying delegations.
Afterwards, the President of the Republic attended a dinner organized in his honnor by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo at Bissau Royal Hotel.
Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani also met with the Mauritnian Community in Guinea Bissau. In the meeting, the President pledged to grant special care to Mauritanians abroad and metigate the difficulties they face.
This meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, President’s cabinet director, and the General Consul of Mauritania in Bissau.
