Association of Mauritanian Professional Diplomats Elects New Executive Office

At the end of its sixth regular session, the association of Mauritanian professional diplomats elected Saturday, at the headquarters of the diplomatic academy in Nouakchott, a new executive office.

In a statement on the occasion, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Ould Sid’Ahmed Ould Djé, said that his department made human resources its first bet for an efficient diplomatic action that responds to the aspirations of the country to play an important role at the regional, international, and continental levels.

He added that through this efficient diplomatic role, the ministry aims to reinforce the fruitful ties of cooperation between our country and the partners and preserve the interests of Mauritanians abroad, in accordance with the vision of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
