Foreign Minister Participates in Ministerial Meeting of Coalition for Sahel
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheickh Ahmed, participated, Friday via videoconference, in the second ministerial meeting of the Coalition for the Sahel.
The meeting was devoted to the strengthened international coalition and the return of administrations and basic social services.
On this occasion, the Minister welcomed the adoption of the roadmap of the Coalition for the Sahel and expressed Mauritania’s attachment to issues of respect for human rights, as well as to religious dialogue.
The meeting was attended by the G-5 Sahel countries and multilateral, European, international, and African partners.
