President of Republic Oversees 2023-2024 School Year Opening Ceremony

On 2 October, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, announced, from the school of Lemrabott Brahim (Bah) Ould Mohamed Lamine in the Moughataa of Teyarett (Nouakchott North), the opening of the 2023-2024 school year, during a ceremony organized for this purpose.

His Excellency the President visited some classrooms of this educational establishment, and its staff presented him, on behalf of the school family, with a message of gratitude for the efforts made to improve educational action, expressing their availability to act even more to increase the performance of our educational establishments. The Head of State also listened to students from this school sing the national anthem.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani visited the exhibition organized by the ministries in charge of education, where he was briefed about the achievements made in the national education sector during the last four years in terms of infrastructure, recruitment, material and moral improvements in favor of teachers, and number of school textbooks distributed.
