Minister of Justice Receives UN Experts

On 26 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ould Boya, held a working session with the UN Group of Experts on Discrimination against Women and Girls.

During the meeting, Mr. Ould Boya reviewed the strategies and legislative reforms that the Department of Justice had implemted to promote the rights of women and girls and combat discrimination against them.

For her part, the head of the UN mission congratulated the minister for the progress made in the area of respect for human rights and international standards in this area.
