The Minister of Culture, Handicraft, and Relations with Parliament, Mr. Lemrabott Ould Benahi, discussed, Wednesday in Nouakchott, with a mission from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) the revision of certain cultural workshops on the maintenance and conservation of Mauritanian heritage.
During the meeting with the UNESCO mission led by Mr. Kerim Hendili, UNESCO representative in Rabat in charge of the Arab Maghreb Union, the Minister expressed the disposal of his department to collaborate with the organization, welcoming the efforts made by the latter in favor of Mauritania, particularly in the fields of culture, education, and sciences.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, that of the National Commission for Education, Culture, and Sciences, and the Curator of Cultural Heritage.
