Minister of Islamic Affairs Receives Turkish Ambassador

The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education, Mr. Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, granted an audience, Tuesday in Nouakchott, to H.E. Mr. Cem Kahiaooglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey accredited to Mauritania.

The meeting dealt with various aspects of the cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the common interest of the two brotherly peoples.

The meeting also addressed issues of common interest, in particular cooperation in training of imams and preachers and procedures for printing the Holy Quran.
