Minister of Justice Holds Talks With EU Ambassador

On 22 June, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ibin Boya, received HE Mr. Gyilym Jones,  the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Mauritania.

The meeting discussed various aspects of cooperation between our country and the European Union in the justice field and the level of progress of joint programs.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Ambassador, expressing his appreciation for the level of cooperation between the justice sector and the EU Mission.

For his part, Mr. Jones thanked the Minister for the fruitful and constructive cooperation between the sector and the European Commission, which has resulted in the Justice Support Program funded by the European Union.
