Mauritania’s Ambassador to FAO Presents Credentials

Ms. Zeïnebou Mint Ely Salem presented, Monday in Rome via videoconference, her credentials, in her capacity as permanent delegate of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the FAO, to Mr. Qu Dongyu, Director General of the UN organization.

During the ceremony organized for the occasion, the delegate had discussions with the FAO Director General on ways to strengthen cooperation between Mauritania and his organization.

The ceremony was attended, on the Mauritanian side, by the first counsellor of the Mauritanian embassy in Rome, Mr. Mohamed Teyib Dy, and the second counsellor, Ms. Maimouna Dia.

On the FAO side, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Rachad El Khavaji, adviser to the director general, Ms Esmehane El Wafi, scientific officer of the organization, the legal adviser, and the head of the consultation section.
