President of Republic Reiterates Commitment To Achieve Universal Health Coverage

In a tweet on 8 April, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, reiterated his commitment to achieve universal health coverage, paying tribute to the country’s medical staff for their efforts in favor of the health of its citizens. The presidential tweet reads as follows: “On the occasion of World Health Day, we reiterate our desire to continue the work until achieving universal health coverage and provide quality services to citizens to improve their care as part of the development of our health system. I would also like to salute our medical staff for their efforts in favor of the health of citizens and urge them to make more efforts and sacrifices.”
