On 20 March, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, who is also the chairman of the G-5 Sahel Economic Affairs Ministers, chaired, via videoconference, the meeting of theSupervisory Council of Ministers of the countries of the said Group.
The ministers discussed, on this occasion, the report of the activities carried out by the Permanent Executive Secretariat for the year 2022.
The meeting also approved the execution of the 2022 budget, the action program for the year 2023, and the draft budget for 2023.
The meeting also discussed the new development and security strategy for the G-5 Sahel and the program of investment priorities.
