On 23 Februry, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The meeting reviewed the cooperation relations between Mauritania and the ICRC and the means to deepen them, particularly the preparations for the school meeting that the Committee will organize on 28 February and 1 March 2023.
