President of Republic Takes Part in 36th Ordinary session of the Assembly of the African Union

The President of the Republic, HE Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, participated this Saturday morning in Addis Ababa, alongside his counterparts, the African Heads of State, in the opening of the 36th session of the African Union (AU) summit.

During the summit, which is being held under the theme: “Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation”, African leaders will discuss a number of issues related to peace and security on the continent, mechanisms to limit the negative effects of climate change and ways to accelerate the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
