On 17 February, in Addis Ababa, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, took part in the meeting of the African Union (AU) high-level ad-hoc committee on Libya.

In addition to the President of the Republic and other leaders, the meeting took place in the presence of the UN Secretary General and AU senior officials.

The participants in the meeting listened to a report presented by the Chairman of the Committee, His Excellency Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, the President of the Republic of Congo.
