Russian Foreign Minister: We Invited the President of the Republic to Attend Russia-Africa Summit

The Russian Foreign Minister, Mr. Sergei Lavrov, said that he invited the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to attend the second session of the Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled on July 27-29 in Saint Petersburg.

The Minister added, in a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, that his meeting with the president of the republic touched on ways to strengthen cooperation between Russia and Mauritania.
