Mauritania Participates in the 9th G5 Sahel Ministers Council Session

The ninth session of G-5 Sahel Ministers Council was kicked off Saturday,13 February, in Ndjamena, Chad.
The meeting is expected to review documents and agendas that will be submitted to the upcoming summit of G-5 Sahel heads of state, due to be held in the Chadian capital on 15 and 16 February 2021.

Mauritania is represented in these meeting by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, acting chairman of the G-5 Sahel Ministers’ council, M. Kane Ousmane Mamoudou, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, M. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
