President of Republic Arrives in Boghe

On 30 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, arrived in Boghe (Brakna), to inaugurate development projects for the benefit of the populations of the Moughataa.

The President of the Republic was welcomed at the entrance of the city by Mr. Mohamed Ould Saleck, the Wali of Brakna, Mr. Moustapha Ould Mohamed Mahmoud, the president of the regional council of Brakna,  Mr. Moctar M’barek Ould Ould Ahmed Cheikh, the hakem of the moughataa of Boghe, Mr. Ba Adama Moussa, the mayor of its municipality, Colonel Mohamed Ould Jaafar, the commander of the 7th military region,  and Colonel Fadel Nekhteirou, the commander of the center zone of the national gendarmerie.

The President of the Republic then greeted the local elected officials, notables, and executives of the wilaya.

The populations of Boghe gave a particularly warm welcome to the President of the Republic.

Massed, near the road leading to the official platform, they chanted the national flag and brandished giant portraits of the President of the Republic and banners praising his achievements over the past three years.
