Palestinian Ambassador: “Palestinian-Mauritanian Relations Are Constantly Developing”

During a ceremony organized on 6 December by the Embassy of Palestine in Nouakchott on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the declaration of the State of Palestine, which was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad and Agriculture, Mr. Mohamed Al-Asaad, the Palestinian Ambassador to Mauritania, affirmed that the Palestinian-Mauritanian relations are experiencing constant development in various fields.
Mr. Al-Asaad added that Mauritania stands with the Palestinian people, supporting and advocating on the basis of the Mauritanian people’s belief in the justice of the cause of the Palestinian people.
The Ambassador affirmed that the Palestinian issue in Mauritania was and still a priority, pointing out that Mauritanians have immortalized Palestinian glory and heroism. He noted that several streets and main roads in Mauritania bear symbols of the State of Palestine.
He pointed out that there are many aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, noting that many Palestinian missions have come to Mauritania as an expression of the depth of cooperation between the two countries.
