President of Republic Offers Condolences to Chinese Counterpart

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, addressed the following message of condolences to the President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping:
“Excellency,

I learned with sadness and sorrow the news of the passing of former President of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Zemin, who was amongst the great Chinese statesmen who devoted their lives to the service of the great nation of china.

On this painful occasion, I express to Your Excellency and the deceased’s family, on my behalf and behalf of the Mauritanian people, my most sincere condolences and sympathy.
