President of Republic Returns From Malabo

On 12 October, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), after having paid a friendly and working visit and attended the festivities commemorating the 54th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, as a guest of honor.
The President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massaoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Vice-President of the Nouakchott Region.
His Excellency the President of the Republic was accompanied during this trip by a large delegation including Messrs. :
– Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;
-Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic;
– Mohamed Ould Makhala, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Equatorial Guinea;
– Tall Ousmane, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic;
– Houssein Ould Naji, an adviser at the Presidency of the Republic;
-El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
The visit culminated in a joint statement calling for increased exchanges and partnerships in fisheries, agriculture, and energy.
