Prime Minister Receives 5 + 5 Dialogue Ministers of Scientific Research

On 11 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud received the Ministers of Scientific Research, Innovation, and Higher Education of the 5 + 5 dialogue countries participating in the fifth conference of the Group, currently held in Nouakchott.
In a statement to the Mauritanian news agency after the meeting, Mr. Kamal Badari, the Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said, on behalf of his colleagues, they were come to express to the Prime Minister their satisfaction with the convening of this meeting and the rigorous organization of its work.
He added that the meeting was an opportunity to study and discuss the different issues raised by each State; to seek the most effective means of resolving outstanding issues; to give importance to talks and bilateral cooperation as well as multilateral cooperation to achieve the objectives of the Group.
During the upcoming period, the participants will work to develop this cooperation for the success of the Group. Mr. Kamal Badari expressed his sincere thanks to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the rigorous organization of this important meeting.
In the same vein, he thanked the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for his efforts to ensure the success of this conference, the results of which will be visible in the upcoming days.
He added that the meeting was an opportunity to assess all the strengths and weaknesses, giving particular importance to the issue of innovation, which is the cornerstone of the progress of the peoples of the region, by striving to extend this cooperation to a partnership in the field of innovation, higher education, and research, while ensuring that everyone’s efforts are combined so that everyone can benefit from them.
Finally, he sincerely thanked the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the warm welcome and hospitality they received throughout their stay.
