President of Republic Offers Condolences to Indonesian Counterpart

On 3 October, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, addressed the following message of condolences to the President of the Republic of Indonesia following the death of dozens of his compatriots and the injuries of many others. “Excellency and dear brother,
I learned with sadness and sorrow the news of dozens of dead and injured among your fellow citizens following a stampede in a sports stadium.
On this painful occasion, I express to Your Excellency and the brotherly people of Indonesia, on my behalf and behalf of the Mauritanian people, my most sincere condolences, imploring Allah the Almighty to shower the dead with his mercy and ensure a speedy recovery for the injured.
