Foreign Affairs Minister Receives UNOWAS Head

On 22 September, in New York, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received HE Mr. Mohamed Saleh Al-Nadhif, the Head of the UN Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS).
During the meeting, the two parties discussed aspects of cooperation between Mauritania and UNOWAS and the political, economic, and security situation in the region.
