Foreign Minister Takes Part in Meeting on Dangers of Extremism

On 21 September, on the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, took part in a meeting organized under the theme: “The danger of extremism and recruitment of vulnerable groups by terrorist organizations in the Sahel”.
The meeting, chaired by Mr. Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister, is organized by the Republic of Niger and Switzerland.
