On 14 September, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, left Nouakchott for Geneva, where he will take part in the work of the 51st session of the Human Rights Council.
During this trip, Mr. Ould Sidi is accompanied by Messrs. Haroune Traore, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Ely Telmoudi, the Adviser to the Prime Minister in Charge of Human Rights, and Mohamed Ould Cheikhna, the Director of Human Rights at the Commission.
