On 13 September, Mr. Aimone Benabderrahmane, the Prime Minister of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, began a working visit to our country to chair the Algerian side at the 19th session of the Great Joint Commission for Mauritanian-Algerian Cooperation. His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, was at the head of the delegation welcoming his Algerian counterpart at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport.
The Algerian distinguished guest was also received by the Ministers of justice, Interior and decentralization, Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Employment and Vocational Training, Equipment and Transport, Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister, and the Ambassador of Mauritania to Algeria, in addition to several other senior officials and the regional authorities of Western Nouakchott.
The Algerian delegation includes: the Ministers of Interior, Justice, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Training and Vocational Education, Public Works, Irrigation and Infrastructure, and Fisheries.
In the Airport’s VIP lounge, the Prime Minister had talks with his Algerian counterpart in the presence of the two countries’ ambassadors.
