Mauritania, IDA Sign Financing Agreement

On 9 August, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, proceeded with Ms. Cristina Isabel Panasco Santos, the resident representative of the World Bank to Mauritania, to the signing of a financing agreement granted by the International Development Association (IDA), in the amount of Thirty Million (30,000,000) US Dollars, in the form of a donation.
This funding is the equivalent of approximately one billion and one hundred and thirty million ouguiyas (1,130,000,000 MRU). It is part of the third budget support operation for our country, intended to finance development policy.
