Mauritania Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Egypt

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted civilian facilities in the east of the Suez Canal in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad affirmed Mauritania’s solidarity with Egypt.

Here is the ministry’s statement:

” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad has learnt with deep sorrow the news of the terrorist attacks that targeted civilian facilities in the east of the Suez Canal in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

Mauritania expresses its sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.

We also affirm our solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt and support its rights to everything that preserves its security and stability”.
