The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, supervised Tuesday, at the conference palace in Nouakchott, the ceremony of awarding the president of the republic’s science award to the outstanding students in the 2022 national Science Rally.
The President of the Republic handed over the first prize, dedicated to the science Rally of the third year of middle school, to the Nouadhibou team, received on behalf of the team by Mohamed Salem Samba. H.E. awarded the first prize for the second year of High School to the Nouakchott south team, received by the student Mohamed Babe Oumar. The third prize for the third year of high school was awarded to the Nouakchott North team, received by Cheikhna Limrabott beidah.
As for the Olympiad, awarded the first prize for mathematics of the fourth year of High School to student Amar Mohamed Abderrahmane from the high school of excellence 4 in Nouakchott.
He also awarded the prize of the seventh year of mathematics to student Mohamed Mahmoud Aba of the high school of excellence 2, the price of physics-chemistry of the seventh to student Salah Idine Baba Ahmed Brahim, of the Military School. He also awarded the prize of natural sciences to student Chrif El Moustapha, from high school Excellence 1.
During this ceremony, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, and the Minister of National Education and Reform of the Educational System, Mr. Mohamed Melainine Ould Eyih, awarded many students.
This award, created in 2017, aims to raise the level of education as a way to create qualified young staffs that respond to the needs of the labor market and bring about comprehensive economic development.
