President of Republic Sends Condolences to UAE Vice-President and Ruler of Dubai

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a message of condolence on Monday to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Here is the text of the condolence message:

“Your Highness,

It was with profound sadness and deep grief that I learned of the passing of your dear brother, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—may the Almighty bestow His mercy upon him.

On this painful occasion, I extend to Your Highness and the noble Al Maktoum family my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy, praying to the Almighty to grant you and your loved ones patience and solace during this difficult time.

I also pray to Allah, in His infinite mercy, to forgive the deceased, admit him into His spacious Paradise, reward him for his good deeds, and make his grave a garden among the gardens of Paradise.

May Allah preserve you, grant you and your noble family patience and strength, and reward you for your loss.

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
