President of Republic Congratulates Mali’s Transition President

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a congratulatory message today, Monday, to His Excellency General Assimi Goïta, President of the Transition and Head of State of the Republic of Mali, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The text of the message is as follows:

« Mr. President and Dear Brother,

The celebration of your country’s National Day provides me with a favorable opportunity to extend to you my warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes for further progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Mali.

I also take this opportunity to affirm to you our firm determination to work towards developing cooperative relations between our two countries and strengthening the ties of friendship and brotherhood that unite our two brotherly peoples.
