Finance Minister Receives IMF Mission

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Codioro Moussa N’Guénore, received an IMF mission led by the Fund’s Regional Advisor on Government Finance Statistics, Mr. Francis Gahizi, on Thursday evening.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the country and the international financial institution, reviewing the progress made and key results achieved in modernizing the mechanisms for collecting and verifying financial data related to public enterprises.

The Minister emphasized the importance the government attaches to modernizing public finance statistics and improving the quality of financial information, highlighting the need to enhance coordination among all stakeholders involved.
