President of Republic Receives German Foreign Minister

On July 20, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, received Dr. Johann Wadephul, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott. The German minister was accompanied by a large delegation.

The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and Germany and explored ways to strengthen and expand bilateral ties across various sectors.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Nany Ould Chrougha, Minister in Charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic; Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad; Mr. Harouna Traore; Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic; and Mr. Mohamed El Hanchi El Kettab, Ambassador and Director General of Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
