President of Republic Attends West African Regional Integration, ECOWAS Summits

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, participated on Sunday, as Guest of Honor, in the opening session of the Summit on the Future of Regional Integration in West Africa, as well as the 69th Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), held in Lungi, Republic of Sierra Leone.

On the sidelines of the two summits, His Excellency the President of the Republic, alongside several Heads of State and Government, took part in a tree-planting ceremony. On this occasion, he planted a tree symbolizing the values of sustainability and commitment to environmental protection, while underscoring the shared determination to strengthen regional cooperation and advance sustainable development efforts in West Africa.
