His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Mahfoudh Ould Cheikh El ghadhi presented his credentials Wednesday in the capital Bangui to His Excellency Mr. Faustin-Archange Touadéra, President of the Central African Republic, in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Central African Republic.
During the credentials presentation ceremony, His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed to the President of the Central African Republic the greetings of his brother, His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani. He affirmed Mauritania’s commitment to strengthening fraternal ties and cooperation with the Central African Republic, and to developing mechanisms for communication and coordination between the two countries across various fields to serve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, the President welcomed the Ambassador, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties. He reaffirmed the depth of fraternal relations between the two nations and stressed the need to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand coordination and consultation to achieve the mutual interests of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the Central African Republic.
