Water Minister Attends Saudi Water Week 2026 Opening

On June 28 in Jeddah, Ms. Amal Mint Mouloud, Minister of Water and Sanitation, took part in the official opening ceremony of Saudi Water Week 2026, which brought together more than 5,000 participants from 80 countries.

The event includes several major activities, notably the ministerial preparatory meeting for the 11th World Water Forum, scheduled to be held in Riyadh in 2027; the ministerial meeting of the 7th Arab Water Forum; and the first annual meeting of the founding member countries of the World Water Organization.

On the sidelines of the opening ceremony, the Minister, accompanied by the heads of the participating delegations, visited the accompanying exhibition, where she learned about the latest technologies and innovations in water resources management, desalination, water reuse, and sustainable solutions for the water sector.
