Livestock Minister Delivers Message from President of Republic to President of Madagascar

The Minister of Livestock, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed, delivered a written message from His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Madagascar, Mr. Michael Randrianirina.

The message was received, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Madagascar, by His Excellency the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Madagascar, Mr. Itibar Othman, during an audience granted to the Minister of Livestock this Saturday in the capital, Antananarivo.

Following the meeting, the Minister stated to the press that he had the honor of meeting with the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Madagascar to deliver a message from His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to his brother and friend, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Madagascar.

He explained that the message conveyed Mauritania’s solidarity and full support for the efforts led by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Madagascar and his government to promote development and consolidate stability.

The Minister further explained that the meeting provided an opportunity to review the excellent cooperative relations between the two friendly nations, discuss several matters of mutual interest, and exchange views regarding the renewal of the governing bodies of the International Organisation of La Francophonie.

He emphasized that Mauritania and Madagascar share strong, historic, and fraternal relations, reinforced by multifaceted cultural and human bonds, as well as close cooperation within the African Union and various international organizations. This reflects the strength of the ties uniting both countries and their shared commitment to strengthening and developing them.
