Defense Minister Delivers Message From President of Republic to Malian President

On June 15 in Bamako, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs, delivered a written message from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to General Assimi Goita, President of the Transition of the Republic of Mali.

The message focused on ways to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and to strengthen the existing strategic partnership, while also enhancing coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.

In a statement following the meeting, the minister said that the Malian President had asked him to convey his fraternal greetings and best wishes for success to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic.
