Foreign Minister Meets With Moroccan, French Ambassadors

On 30 April in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug,  Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received H.E. Mr. Hamid Chabar, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, and H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Besnier, Ambassador of the French Republic.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review and discuss the strong bilateral cooperation Mauritania maintains with Morocco and France, and to explore avenues to further strengthen and expand collaboration across areas of shared interest.

During the discussions, the Minister received an official invitation for Mauritania to participate in an international peace conference, to be jointly organized by the two countries.
