Foreign Affairs Minister Holds Talks With AU Commission Chairperson’s High Representative

On 28 April in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met  with a delegation from the African Union Commission, currently visiting our country, led by the High Representative of the Chairperson of the Commission, Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Head of the African Union Mission in Mali and the Sahel.

The meeting reviewed the cooperation relations between our country and the African Union Commission, and exchanged views on several issues of common interest, notably the situation in the Sahel region.
