His Excellency French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his pleasure at welcoming His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, who is currently on a state visit to France. He emphasized that the partnership between the two countries is poised for further strengthening through coordinated efforts to address the repercussions of regional instability and humanitarian crises, as well as protecting shared interests, opening up broader opportunities for young people, promoting mutual investment, and launching concrete projects that serve the peoples of both countries.

The French President noted that this meeting holds particular significance, as it takes place one month before the upcoming “Africa Forward” summit in Nairobi, adding that building a shared future between France and Africa is based on mutual respect, ambition, and joint action.

At the conclusion of his tweet, the French President called for moving forward together toward the future.
