Minister of Education Meets With UNFPA Resident Representative

On 2 April in Nouakchott, Ms. Houda Babah, Minister of Education and Reform of the Educational System, met with H.E. Ms. Olga Sankara, Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Mauritania.

The discussions focused on cooperation between Mauritania and this UN agency, as well as ways to strengthen it, particularly in areas related to the education sector and educational system reform.

During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on prospects for cooperation and agreed to continue coordinating efforts to develop approaches that could strengthen their partnership, in support of the priorities of equitable and quality education, within the framework of a shared vision.
